Whatever it is, bring me a long to document those pawfect moments with your furry companion. Your dog has given you all the emotional support on all your best days and not so good days. What To Expect During A Portrait Session in Houston With Your Dog?

  • Connecting and interacting with your pup! You can be in the photos as much or as little as you’d like.

  • Depending on your dog, we can stay home or go to their favorite location! Don’t put your dog in a new environment where they will be too distracted.

  • Assisting on getting your dogs attention to the camera. You know your dog best and they most likely listen to you better than me. Bring treats, their favorite toy, anything that will help them listen.

  • Patience. LOTS AND LOTS OF PATIENCE! I can’t stress this enough. We will not be forcing anything on the animal that they are not feeling.

  • 35mm film! Ok so here’s the short story behind this… Weeks after my dog Lobo passed away I took some film to get developed. When I got the film back I realized there was photos of Lobo in one of the rolls! Getting new photos of my sweet boy even after he passed was the best surprise I could have ever imagined.

  • Giving back to the community. Every year we host our fundraising event, For The Love of Pups, and donated all proceeds to a reputable & local no kill animal shelter or organization!

The Process

 

Pup Creative Consultation

Tell me all about your dog and why you decided to do a session with or for them. We will go over time, entry fees if any, dog friendly locations, change of outfits and how you want to display your new images once they are printed.

 

Your Pups Session

We will do whatever your dog is comfortable with and not force anything too much. Be excited to be very patient and have some treats ready. We will let your dog be a dog and capture their personality.

 

Ordering Session

Once your images have been edited you will get an online gallery where you can choose your favorite images. In person and virtual ordering sessions are available for ordering prints!

For Our Houston Dog Community

 

For the Love of Pups

For the Love of Pups is a project for our community in Houston. I host annual events where 100% of the proceeds are donated. Past events have been hosted by Tuscan Courtyard in Dickinson, Forth + Nomad, Alvin Animal Adoption Center benefiting Gulf Coast Tiny Paws Rescue, Laurels House, Jenni’s Rescue Ranch and AAPC raising $550-$900 each event!

 

It all started when…

My dog Lobo passed away in 2019 and too soon after my puppy Chula in 2020. I had never experienced such a loss, such a heartbreak. Now they live forever as works of art displayed in my home.
