Houston, TX| Jonna & Evan 12.11.16

This was such a successful wedding; from the decor to the once-in-a-lifetime-moments. I'm so happy for Jonna and Evan and super excited to share this sneak peek of their big day!

Their day started at the Hilton University of Houston. After the last eye lash was curled and the last flower was pinned, Jonna and Evan had a private first look in the hotel's courtyard. With the sun setting so much earlier in the winter, a first look is a must to make sure you and your significant other get some nice daylight photos together. 🌞

The unplugged ceremony was then held at the UHChapel. This chapel has A LOT to offer. I'm talking natural lighting bouncing off the ceiling and tall white walls of this wide open space, what more could a photographer ask for? My favorite part of the day? Their vows. Jonna and Evan wrote their own vows making their short and super sweet ceremony one to remember.

The reception took place at Nouveau Art Bar, a unique bar filled with Tiffany lamps, setting a very romantic and classy mood. Perfect for these two art teachers! The party was GREAT, like dancing non stop kind of great. And just like that, it was time for the send off with ecofetti, a water soluble confetti (this stuff is magical). This was my second favorite part of the day because snow in Houston is rare, so naturally I'm in love with the impossible snowy exit photos! ❄️
